Parking

The boat leaves from 10 Town Wharf Plymouth, MA 02360 at 8 AM.

Be early for your departure. You’ll want to get to our dock with time to spare to board the boat and make yourself comfortable. Please allow about 60 minutes for ticketing and boarding.

WHAT TO BRING

You will be on the water for the full day- so come prepared! We recommend passengers dress in layers and bring a backpack or tote to hold belongings. Here are a few items we highly recommend having:

  • Food for the day. We will not be providing any meals in 2026. Please come prepared for a full day on the water bringing your own breakfast, snack, lunch, and beverages. NO GLASS CONTAINERS OF ANY KIND ONBOARD. The boat has a full galley where you can purchase meals. Please note the galley is CASH ONLY.

  • Warm layers (and rain gear if forecasted for fog/rain)

  • Comfortable shoes

  • Sunblock

  • Sunglasses (polarized sunglasses are best for viewing sharks)

  • Hat (check the weather, sometimes a beanie is good in September!)

  • Motion sickness medicine

  • Cash (they have a refreshment bar on board)

  • Binoculars, camera, or both!

  • Water (no glass containers, please)

  • Excitement for sharks and whales!

*  There is no smoking or vaping allowed on board. Please plan accordingly.

where to stay

Summer can be a busy tourist time for Plymouth, so we recommend making travel arrangements early. The boat departs promptly at 8 AM and we will begin boarding at 7:30 AM. For this reason, we do recommend that anyone joining from afar plan to stay in the area the night before. Please check out the Destination Plymouth website for more information about dining, shopping, and other attractions in the area. In addition, here are some additional resources for finding lodging: AAA, Air B& B, and Massachusetts Vacation.com. AWSC and WDC are not responsible for passenger travel or accommodation fees in the event of cancellation.
