The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy has long been committed to advancing science, helping to facilitate the peaceful coexistence between humans and white sharks, and inspiring shark and ocean conservation. We work to ensure that a keystone species in our ocean’s ecosystem will thrive for generations to come. Making a planned gift is a wonderful way to show your support and appreciation for wildlife and the environment while accommodating your own personal, financial, and philanthropic goals.
The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy Legacy Society recognizes the selfless commitment of those who have chosen to provide a lasting legacy for AWSC. Through bequests, life income gifts, and charitable trusts, the members of the Society are invested in AWSC’s future by providing gifts that will support AWSC’s mission for generations to come.
+ Make a gift through your will or trust
A charitable gift from your estate is a favored method of giving that enables you to achieve your financial goals and benefit AWSC. No other planned gift is as simple to make or as easy to change should you ever need the assets during your lifetime.
+ Give life insurance you no longer need
Complete and return to the insurance company a form designating that AWSC receives all or a portion of the death benefit associated with your life insurance policy. As an alternative to naming AWSC as the beneficiary, you can transfer ownership of the policy. Transferring ownership results in an immediate income tax charitable deduction and potential income tax savings in the year of the gift.
