Join Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC) and the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy (AWSC) for an unforgettable all-day adventure, exploring Cape Cod’s vibrant marine life — from whales and great white sharks to a wealth of seabirds!
Expedition 2026: White Sharks and Whales is our annual fundraising event, supporting the crucial work of both WDC and AWSC. As you embark on this exciting journey, experts from both organizations will be onboard, offering an immersive educational experience. Learn about the fascinating biology, behavior, and conservation efforts surrounding sharks and whales, while contributing to the ongoing protection of these incredible species. All proceeds from this event directly support the shared mission of WDC and AWSC in advancing ocean conservation.
Changes to 2026 Expeditions: Due to rising costs, we will no longer be providing breakfast and lunch onboard.
Please Note: While we will make every effort to locate whales, dolphins, porpoises, pelagic birds, sharks, and other marine life, please understand that weather conditions may affect our route, and sightings cannot be guaranteed.

THESE TRIPS ARE DEPENDENT ON WEATHER AND SEA CONDITIONS
These trips are run using The Tales of the Sea, a vessel owned and operated by Captain John Boats. The Tails of the Sea is a whale watch boat which gives us a raised view of all marine wildlife, including white sharks. The benefit of this raised view is that you can see sharks who are deeper in the water and would be tough to see from a boat which was lower to the water. Due to the size of the Tails of the Sea, we do have to stay in water that is at least 10 feet deep, which may determine which areas we can go to for viewing sharks.
