HANNAH LEARY

ECOTOURISM COORDINATOR

Hannah manages the logistics of AWSC’s white shark charter program and serves as a naturalist on trips, coordinating with captains and spotter pilots to bring guests up close to white sharks. She also oversees our harbor cruises and White Shark and Whale Expeditions.

Hannah grew up spending her summers with her grandparents on Cape Cod, making the opportunity to work with white sharks in her own backyard especially meaningful. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from The University of Texas at Austin and is a certified divemaster. Her experience includes working in shark diving in Florida and collaborating with shark fishermen in Indonesia to combat the shark fin trade. She is passionate about connecting people with sharks and fostering a deeper appreciation for these misunderstood predators.
