Shark Challenge 2025

The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy invites you to challenge yourself to get out and move in support of shark and ocean conservation.

From June 1st- 8th, participants will choose one of five distances to walk, swim, jog, bike, paddle, or dog walk. You can cover the distance in one day or throughout the week - the choice is yours! Just remember that a great white shark can swim over 70 miles a day! Are you up for the challenge?

Registration includes a tax-deductible donation to support shark research & conservation, and comes with an event water bottle.

Take your pick of distances below:


1) Shark Pup - 2.5 miles


2) Tiger Shark - 5 miles


3) Hammerhead Shark - 10 miles


4) Mako Shark - 15 miles


5) Great White Shark - Marathon (26.2 miles)

All participants will be entered into an opportunity drawing to win fun prizes from Spicy Shark, Cape Clasp, Cape Cod Nail Co, Cape Shark, AWSC and more!

Become a Fundraiser:
This year you can help us raise money to support white shark research and conservation by hosting your own fundraiser! All fundraisers who raise $500 or more will be entered into an opportunity drawing to name a tagged white shark!
