Nantucket Fire and Police Department Training
This course is designed to train individuals on what to do as an immediate responder in a bleeding emergency and covers the ABCs of bleeding as a method to stop an active bleed. The course includes a class presentation and hands-on skills demonstration on tourniquet application, wound packing, and pressure application Participants will also receive a certificate of completion upon completing the course.
Come learn simple, life saving skills under competent instructors from both the Nantucket Fire and Police Departments.

Due to overwhelming response to our January and FebruaryStop the Bleed forums, the Orleans Citizens Forum is pleased to present a third Stop the Bleed, with Orleans Fire Chief Tony Pike and the Orleans Fire & Rescue Department on March 7, 2019.
The January and February classes are fully subscribed. We are accepting enrollments for the March Stop the Bleedtraining NOW! Please note the time for the session is 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.
Stop The Bleed is a national emergency services program that was featured on 60 Minutes on November 4, 2018.
