Register for AWSC’s Shark Challenge and walk, run, bike, swim or paddle to support shark research and conservation.
Shark Challenge Dates:
April 23rd - 29th, 2023
This year, you can sign up your favorite four-legged friend too!
During the week cover one of the five distances below. You can do this in one day or over the week in whatever segments best suit you. For motivation, just remember that a great white shark can swim over 70 miles a day!
DISTANCES TO COVER DURING THE WEEK
1) Shark Pup - 2.5 miles
2) Tiger Shark - 5 miles
3) Hammerhead Shark - 10 miles
4) Mako Shark - 15 miles
5) Great White Shark - Marathon (26.2 miles)

Registration is $60 donation per person and includes an event t-shirt (adult and youth sizes). Add your dog to your registration for $10 and your pup gets a logo tennis ball!
Just want to register your dog on his/her own? Dog registration is $25 and includes a logo tennis ball.
Register as a group of six and get a discount! $45 per person ($270 total) includes an event t-shirt for each participant (adult and youth sizes).
*Registration fees are a tax-deductible donation to AWSC. T-shirts and tennis balls will be shipped within three weeks of completing the challenge.
OPPORTUNITY DRAWING
Once you’ve completed your distance, send in your name and completed distance to sharkchallenge@atlanticwhiteshark.org. Every finisher will be entered into an opportunity drawing to win FINomenal prizes!
