Atlantic White Shark Conservancy is pleased to announce a benefit lecture by National Geographic photographer Brian Skerry and Dr. Greg Skomal.
Award winning photojournalist Brian Skerry will give a presentation entitled 'Ocean Soul' during which he will share images and stories from over 16 years photographing marine wildlife worldwide for National Geographic Magazine in diverse environments from tropical coral reefs to diving beneath polar ice. Among the animals he has photographed are Right Whales, bluefin tuna, harp seals and many species of sharks. Brian has spent more than 10,000 hours underwater for the last thirty years with a mission to increase awareness about the sea.
Dr. Greg Skomal, of the Massachusetts Shark Research Program, will present on his white shark research. Dr. Skomal has been heading up the scientific research on white sharks off the coast of Cape Cod for the last 6 years.
