Research Scientist

The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy seeks a full-time Research Scientist to lead the Conservancy’s efforts in white shark research and support community outreach. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Research Scientist's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, conducting applied research on the ecology and behavior of white sharks in the North Atlantic, specifically off the coast of Massachusetts, writing grant applications, reports, publications and other deliverables on existing/prospective research projects, as well as making public presentations, administration and providing a supervisory role for graduate students, interns and volunteers.

Position Closed: Community Educator

The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy seeks a permanent, part-time Community Educator to support the Conservancy’s education programming. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated professional to contribute to a growing non-profit organization with his/her curriculum development, outreach, and communication skills. Reporting to the Education Director, the Community Educator is responsible for assisting in the various education programs of the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy by teaching, developing curriculum for learners of all ages, actively managing all aspects of our Chatham Shark Center and managing outreach events.
